Here are some photos on a project we're working on in San Diego.

It is a masonry block foundation for a new home. It consists of block ranging in width from 8 inches to 16 inches. Those 16 inch blocks are pretty heavy!

As you can see, there's plenty of reinforcing steel in the wall.

Steel beams were added and a concrete slab was recently poured over the garage.
